Build and scale the core infrastructure powering One Place, from high-throughput data pipelines to real-time search APIs serving millions of property listings.

Responsibilities

  • ›Design and build scalable backend services and APIs using Django and PostgreSQL
  • ›Architect data pipelines that crawl, process, and unify property listings from hundreds of sources
  • ›Optimize database performance with PostGIS spatial queries and pgvector similarity search
  • ›Build and maintain infrastructure on AWS with Docker containerization
  • ›Collaborate with the ML team to integrate model outputs into production systems

Requirements

  • ›5+ years of professional backend engineering experience
  • ›Deep expertise in Python, Django, and PostgreSQL
  • ›Experience with distributed systems, data pipelines, or search infrastructure
  • ›Comfort with DevOps practices: Docker, CI/CD, cloud infrastructure
  • ›Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work autonomously

Responsibilities

  • ›Train and deploy custom NLP and computer vision models for property understanding
  • ›Build vector embedding pipelines for semantic search across millions of listings
  • ›Develop ML-powered features: intelligent matching, property valuation, anomaly detection
  • ›Design data extraction systems that parse structured information from unstructured listing pages
  • ›Set up MLOps infrastructure for model training, evaluation, and deployment

Requirements

  • ›5+ years of experience in machine learning engineering
  • ›Strong foundation in NLP, computer vision, or information retrieval
