One Place vs Holofy
Holofy describes itself as an AI property search: write what you want in plain language, and it finds it across ten portals in nine countries. We tested that on 7 September 2026. Every one of the 60 searches we sent returned the same message, “An error occurred”, and not one property. The parts around the search do work, and this page says so: the 3D map moves to the city you name, and the neighbourhood pages carry real crime, school, transport, and price data. One Place answers the same queries with listings from most of Europe. Below is what we saw, with the screenshots, so you can repeat the test yourself.
Is One Place the right Holofy alternative?
you want a plain-language search that returns properties today, across most of Europe, from France and Southern Europe to the Nordics, the Baltics, and Iceland.
you want their neighbourhood pages, which are genuinely good: crime, schools, transport, air quality, and Land Registry prices for London and Dubai. Read them for the area research, and expect to find the property somewhere else. We got no property out of the search on 7 September 2026.

We tested Holofy ourselves
We ran these tests from an ordinary browser on 7 September 2026, and we repeated the search test with a direct request to their server, with no browser in the way. The answer was the same. Each screenshot below says what to look at.

Screenshots come from Holofy's public website on the dates shown. They are cropped and scaled down, and not changed in any other way. Software changes: if what you see no longer matches this, tell us and we will test again.
Three differences worth a closer look
Search the way you would describe it to a friend
Type a full sentence and One Place reads the intent behind it: location, budget, the must-haves and the nice-to-haves. There are no filter trees to climb and no fields to leave blank when a portal has not thought of your criteria.
One budget, every market
Set a budget once and One Place normalises prices across currencies, so a home in Switzerland and one in Sweden are compared on the same scale. Country-by-country portals leave the maths to you.
See each home once, not five times
The same property is often posted by several agents across several portals, and sold homes can linger for months. One Place merges duplicates into one current result, so your search is not padded with repeats of the same home.
Describe what you're looking for
One sentence is enough. One Place searches all available European markets at once.
Frequently asked questions
The map and the neighbourhood pages work. The search did not, on the day we tested it. On 7 September 2026, between 07:46 and 08:52 UTC, we sent 60 plain-language queries to holofy.io. Every one returned “An error occurred”. We got the same answer from a direct request to their search endpoint, with no browser in the way, so the message comes from their server. We cannot say how long it has been like this, or whether it is fixed now. Try it yourself before you decide.
